2021 Registration

Registration for the 10th Annual ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge is now open! Click HERE to register.

In adhering with the current CDC and IDPH regulations for Illinois, the 2021 event will consist of an in-person 1 Mile run and a Virtual 5K and 1 Mile run.

Registration Fee Details

Early Registration (Prior to 3/28/2021)

Adult $30
Youth (5-17) $20
Pre-School (4 & Under) FREE

Registration (After 3/28/2021)

Adult $35
Youth (5-17) $25
Pre-School (4 & Under) FREE

The in-person 1 mile event will be held on April 24, 2021 at South Middle School. Participants will have an assigned start time beginning at 8:30am and every 30 minutes following that.

The virtual 1 mile and 5K event will begin on April 24, 2021 and participants will have until May 2, 2021 to complete their event and submit their timing. Click here for full details on how to participate in our virtual event.

All registrations prior to 3/28/2021 are guaranteed a technical race shirt. They will also have the option to have their race packet delivered to a D25 school during race week.

All Fees are non-refundable.

Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up will take place on April 23rd from 2-5:30pm at:

Early registrants will have the option to have their packet delivered to your D25 School. Packet pick-up will also be available on race day.

Pre-registered participants will receive a race packet with their race information, race shirt and promotional materials from sponsors.

There will be NO Race Day Registration.  The last opportunity to register will be at packet pick up.

Timing and Awards

There will be no timing or awards for either the in-person of virtual 1 Mile run. There will be no awards for the 5K.

Race results for the 5K will be posted on our awards page by May 7, 2021.

Additional Information

ABC/25 wants to ensure that all students can participate in this event. If your family is experiencing financial difficulties, the race fee for the student(s) will be provided by a generous donation from a community member. Interested families can contact our Race Directors at abc25challenge@gmail.com for a code to utilize this donation on the registration page.

Individuals with disabilities should notify South Middle School if they require special assistance or services. Please give the building staff 24 hour advance notice. (847) 398-4250.
